French Day 2023
The school held their own French Day. Mr Treadwell came in and made crepes with all of the children - not only did they look amazing, the aroma of freshly cooked crepes travelled around the school throughout the sessions.
All of the children became engineers for the afternoon, as each group constructed their own version of the Eifel Tower, built expertly using kebab sticks, marshmallows and oranges!
There were also French games to play, including Snakes and Ladders and lots of different matching games. It was great to see how animated the children were and how much they enjoyed the activities. We even managed to fly the French flag for all to see!

Senior Tea Party
We were extremely privileged to have senior members of our community attend the school for the annual Afternoon Tea Party. Year 6 pupils were waitresses and waiters for the afternoon, ensuring that there was plenty of sandwiches, cakes and teas and coffees available for our guests. The finale of the tea party was when all seven classes within the main school (nursery were a little two small to attend) sang their own version of famous Disney songs.
